The study contains an interpretation of the data obtained by applying the questionnaire entitled Ecological Agrofood Products during May – August 2016. The interpretation aims to reveal the consumers’ mootives for buying ecological agrofood products in view of the following parameters: monthly income of a family, education level, personal motivations, acquisition source, the physical-chemical features of the products. At the same time it was analyzed the acknowledgement level of the signalling elements for the ecological products, the information sources and the trust degree of the consumers targeted.
The questionnaire was done within RDRP interdisciplinary research group and was filled in by 1788 respondents, among which 724 are from the North-East development Region.
